Lemonplan is led by Richard Lemon, a chartered town planner with over twenty years' experience.

Prior to setting up Lemonplan in 2024, Richard spent seven years at property developer SAV Group, overseeing planning applications for residential, student, co-living and hotel schemes, in London and beyond, managing teams of up to 25 consultants.

He also advised the firm's leadership on opportunities and threats presented by changes to planning legislation and policy, as well as undertaking deep-dive planning appraisals of sites being considered for purchase.

Earlier in his career, Richard spent nearly thirteen years at consultancies Roger Tym & Partners and CBRE, where he provided planning advice on retail and residential-led mixed use developments across Britain. His clients included pension funds, property developers, supermarket operators and local planning authorities.
